The Korgalzhyn nature reserve is located 130 km from Nur-Sultan. It is the largest protected area in Kazakhstan. A wide range of steppe, waterfowl and semi-aquatic birds can be observed during our tour such as Dalmatian Pelican, Swans, Grey Heron, Great Black-headed Gull, Demoiselle Crane, Steppe Eagle, Pallid Harrier, Black Lark and White-winged Lark - around 40 species in total. In the best season Pink Flamingo can be observed. You will also see such mammals as marmots, ground squirrels and saiga.
8:00 - depart from Nur-Sultan city
10:30 - arrival to the Korgalzhyn village
10:30-11:45 - excursion in local visit-centre of the reserve. It includes basic information about the Korgalzhyn Nature Researea and its birds and animals.
12:00-13:00 - lunch at a local guest house
13:30-16:30 - Trip around lakes, observation of birds and animals
16:30-17:30 - picnic at a rangers' station
17:30-20:00 - Return to Nur-Sultan city
